Free supply of dentures, artificial eye-balls, etc | 263. Notwithstanding General Order 262, an officer may be supplied free of charge such dentures, artificial eye-balls and audio-hearing aids if-
(a) it is certified by the Head of Department that the damage or defect is caused during the performance of his official duties; (b) the officer is exempted from the payment of any such dentures, artificial eye-balls and audio-hearing aids by the Government medical officer or Government dental officer on the recommendation of the Head of Department; or (c) the Government medical officer or Government dental officer is of the opinion that the officer requires such dentures, artificial eye-balls and audio-hearing aids for the performance of his official duties. |
