Ward charges for school child of officers | 279. - (1) Notwithstanding these General Orders, the child of an officer is eligible to be admitted to a second class ward and shall be exempted from any hospital charges provided that he produces a letter of introduction from his Headmaster or Principal.
(2) A child of an officer admitted to a first class ward at the request of the officer shall be charged ward charges according to the rates applicable to the public unless the officer is eligible for treatment in first class, in which case the officer shall be charged ward charges according to the rates of his eligibility. |
