Method of attendance
261. - (1) Officers and members of their families seeking or requiring medical or dental treatment are normally required to attend at the time and place notified in accordance with General Order 260:

Provided that, in cases of emergency or where attendance at the time and place notified is not possible, a Government medical officer or a Government dental officer may, at his discretion, make alternative arrangements.

(2) If attendance, for the purpose of receiving medical or dental treatment, by an officer or member of his family at the time and place notified is not possible, a Government medical officer or Government dental officer may, in cases of emergency, be summoned to an officer's residence for this purpose.
