Emergency treatment | 264. - (1) An officer or a member of his family requiring emergency treatment anywhere within or outside Malaysia may be brought to any Government hospital or private hospital nearest to the place where he fell sick or place where he receives the injury.
(2) If the officer or member of his family obtains emergency treatment in a private hospital, the Government shall bear all the expenses of the treatment to overcome such emergency including ward charges on condition that the officer is required to refund to the Government such ward charges according to the rate of eligibility of the officer as if he is admitted to a Government hospital. |
