Payment of hospital bills | 281. - (1) An officer is liable for the payment of all hospital bills charged either in cash or through salary deduction.
(2) Where an officer fails to pay the hospital bills in connection with the treatment received by him or a member of his family after a period of one month from the date of the bills forwarded to him, the Head of Department may take action to deduct his salary for the settlement of such bills when requested to do so by the hospital authority. |
