Treatment facilities for family of officer upon his death | 284. - (1) Any member of the family of an officer who-
(a) has been confirmed in the service; or (b) has been emplaced on the pensionable terms; or (c) has opted for the Employees Provident Fund Scheme, is eligible for free medical and dental treatment and medication upon the death of the officer irrespective whether the death occurred whilst the officer was in service or on retirement. (2) If any member of the family of such officer is admitted to any Government hospital, he shall be exempted from payment of ward charges. |
