Private treatment on own expenses | 267. - (1) Subject to General Order 264, an officer or a member of his family who obtains treatment at a private hospital or from a private practitioner shall be liable for all the expenses in connection with such treatment.
(2) Notwithstanding paragraph (1), if the treatment required is not available at a Government hospital, the officer or a member of his family may obtain treatment at a private hospital in Malaysia at Government expense with the approval of the State Secretary after considering the recommendation of the Government medical specialist concerned. |
