Restriction on activities of departmental club, etc
180. - (1) Where the Head of Department is aware of activities organised by a departmental club in his department which would involve the participation of more than six officers in his department for an aggregate period of more than three days on any one occasion, whether within or outside the State, he shall inform the State Secretary and seek his written approval before granting his officers permission to participate in such activities.

(2) Unless otherwise approved by the State Secretary, all activities of a departmental club or public officers' club shall take place outside official working hours.

(3) No public officer shall apply for and be granted unrecorded leave of more than seven days in one calendar year, for the purpose of participating in the activities of a departmental club or public officers' club.

(4) Unless with the prior written approval of the State Secretary, the Head of Department shall not permit the use of any public funds under his control or belonging to the department, for activities of any departmental club or public officers' club.
