Disciplinary action against an officer | PART THREE PROCEDURES 174.- (1) A breach or contravention of any of the provisions of these General Orders by an officer shall render him liable to disciplinary action in accordance with the Public Service Commission Rules, 1996. (2) Where the State Secretary is of the opinion that the breach referred to in paragraph (1) does not warrant disciplinary action against the officer, but considers it necessary to issue a warning to the officer as regards the breach, he may issue such warning without referring the matter to the Commission: Provided that such warning shall not be deemed as a disciplinary punishment. |
