Once-in-the-service vacation leave passage for the purpose of overseas tour under General Order 214(3) of the Sarawak General Orders (Revised 1965).

Local Public Service officers appointed before 2nd November, 1971 holding established posts in Division I and II and in Division III who were in receipt of basic salary of exceeding M625.00
per month;

Local Education Service officers appointed before 16th March, 1973 holding established posts in Division I and II and in Division III who were in receipt of basic salary of exceeding RM625.00 per month.
2.
Annual vacation leave passage for the purpose of returning to registered home town under General Order 214(1) of the Sarawak General Orders (Revised 1965).

Local Public Service officers appointed before2nd November, 1971;

Local Education Service officers appointed before 16th March, 1973.
3.
Vacation leave allowance once every three years in the service for the purpose of visiting any place outside Sarawak under General Order 215(a) of the Sarawak General Orders (Revised 1965) and paragraph 2(i)(a) of State Secretary's Circular No. 1 of 1982 ref. 87/EO/1036/1 dated 4th February, 1982.

Public Service officers appointed before 2nd November, 1971 in Division I or in Division 11who were in receipt of basic salary of exceeding RM600.00 per month;

Education Service officers appointed before 16th March, 1973 in Division I or in Division II who were in receipt of basic salary of exceeding RM660.00 per month.
4.
Vacation leave passage once every three years in the service for the purpose of visiting any place within Malaysia or any other place in lieu thereof under General Order 215(b) of the Sarawak General Orders (Revised 1965) and Secretary's Circular ref: 110/EO/1036/1 dated 18th July, 1983.

Public Service officers appointed before 2nd November, 1971 who were not eligible for vacation leave allowance under paragraph 3 above;

Education Service officers appointed before 16th March, 1973 who were not eligible for vacation leave allowance under paragraph 3 above.
5.
Vacation leave passage once every three years in the service for the purpose of visiting any place within West Malaysia under paragraph 33(ii) of Service Circular No. 9 of 1971.
