Liability to serve anywhere | 14.-(1) An officer shall be liable to serve in any part of Malaysia as may be directed by the Government unless provided otherwise in his letter of appointment.
(2) Where delegation is made to the State Secretary by the Commission under General Order 4(2), the posting or transfer of officers from one department to another department or vice versa within the State shall be effected by the State Secretary. (3) An officer on transfer may be required to serve in the station to which he has been transferred for such period as the State Secretary or the Commission, as the case may be, shall determine. (4) An officer who fails or refuses to comply with a transfer order shall be liable to disciplinary action. |
