Officer not medically or mentally fit
21. The Head of Department may, at any time, require an officer to present himself before a Medical Board for examination if the Head of Department is of the opinion that such officer is, medically or mentally, no longer capable of performing the duties of his appointment; and if the officer is certified by the Medical Board to be incapable by reason of infirmity of mind or body of discharging efficiently the duties of his appointment, the Head of Department may recommend to the Government to have the services of the officer terminated or he be retired from public service.
