Annual salary movement of officer promoted by appointment

39.

The annual salary movement of an officer who is promoted by appointment and has not been confirmed in his appointment may, subject to the appraisal report of his performance submitted by the Head of Department under General Order 36, move horizontally only in the salary scale until his confirmation, or may be static.
