Carrying forward vacation leave that cannot be taken
117.-(1) An officer is permitted to accumulate his vacation leave for which he is eligible for two consecutive years to the third year according to paragraphs (2), (3) and (4).

(2) Any balance of vacation leave in the first year that cannot be taken due to exigencies of service may be allowed to be carried forward to the second year.

(3) If there is a balance of vacation leave which the officer is entitled to in the second year, the balance for the second year together with the balance for the first year carried forward may be carried to the third year.

(4) If the vacation leave for the first year which is permitted to be carried forward to the second and third years cannot be taken by the end of the third year, the annual vacation leave for the first year shall be forfeited and shall not be carried forward further to the following year.
