Quarantine leave with full-pay if the officer is found sick or being suspected sick | 133.-(1) When an officer, who is on his return journey to the State from a foreign country, is detained in any quarantine station by any health authority on any grounds, such period of detention shall be deemed as quarantine leave on full-pay and shall be deducted from the vacation leave for which he is eligible.
(2) An officer who is found sick or being suspected sick during the quarantine and is detained in the quarantine station, such period shall be deemed as quarantine leave with full-pay. (3) If an officer is detained in any place by any health authority due to an outbreak of epidemic or infectious disease, he shall be granted quarantine leave as in paragraph (1) for the period of his detention by the health authority of the place. |
