Policy of vacation leave | PART TWO LEAVE IN THE PUBLIC SERVICE 111.-(1) An officer is eligible for vacation leave for each year of service at such rates and subject to such conditions as set out in General Order 113. (2) Subject to paragraphs (3) and (4), an officer who wishes to spend the whole or part of his vacation leave outside the State shall first obtain the permission of the Head of Department. (3) A Head of Department who wishes to spend the whole or part of his vacation leave outside the State shall obtain the permission of the State Secretary. (4) Any officer belonging to Category IV and above who wishes to spend the whole or part of his vacation leave outside the State but within Malaysia shall obtain the permission from his Head of Department, but if he wishes to spend such leave outside Malaysia, he must obtain the permission of the State Secretary. |
