Passage for courses or training within Malaysia, etc 		70.-(1) An officer selected or allowed to attend an approved course or training in Malaysia, Singapore or Brunei Darussalam shall be granted air passage facilities of the grade for which he is eligible in accordance with the Ninth Schedule once at the beginning and once at the end of the course or training for the journey between his station and the place where the course or training is held.

(2) The officer shall be paid travelling expenses at such rates as may be fixed from time to time by the State Secretary but shall not be lower than a second class railway or coach fare from the airport or port to the place where the course or training is held once at the beginning and once at the end of the course or training. An officer who is required to make a journey to fulfill the programme of his course or training verified by a proper authority in the institution where he is attending the course or training may be paid the cost of the journey at the same rate.
