Family maintenance allowance | 74. An officer who is required to undertake, or who undertakes with the approval of the Government, any overseas course without pay may, in addition to the payments as prescribed in General Order 73, be permitted to claim for family maintenance allowance at such rates as may be stipulated by the State Secretary from time to time. The officer is eligible to apply for assistance to enable him to pay his life insurance premium and any other commitments incurred prior to his application for the course. |
