Eligibility for payments of transfer grant or house-moving allowance
PART FIVE

ALLOWANCES AND PAYMENTS ON TRANSFER AND
HOUSE-MOVING WITHIN THE STATE

101. An officer on transfer or house-moving, whether directed or on own application, is eligible to claim for a grant or allowance in respect of such transfer or house-moving, as the case may be, subject to the following conditions:

(a) transfer to outside the station is subject to such terms and conditions as prescribed in General Order 102(2);

(b) house-moving from own house/rented house/Government quarters to Government quarters or house the rent of which is paid for by the Government and otherwise on the direction of the relevant authority is subject to such terms and conditions as prescribed in General Order 102(3);

(c) house-moving from an own house/rented house/Government quarters to a house, whether bought under the Government Officer’s Building Loans Scheme or otherwise, is subject to such terms and conditions as prescribed in General Order 102(3): Provided that this allowance shall be made once only in the service of such officer.
