Reimbursement for parking fees
88.-(1) Where the Government is unable to provide parking space for the vehicle of an officer who is entitled to be provided therewith or where an officer performs official duty outside his place of work, and he has to park his vehicle in an area or place where parking fees are charged by the appropriate authorities, the parking fees paid may be claimed by such officer, subject to the following conditions:
    (a) all claims shall not exceed such sum per month as the Head of Department may determine from time to time;

    (b) if the claim is for parking fees incurred by the officer on official duty, such claims shall only be settled on production of a certificate by the officer that the parking of his vehicle is strictly incidental to the performance of his official duty; and

    (c) all claims must be supported by the production of receipted bills or used parking coupons.

(2) All claims for reimbursement of parking fees under paragraph (1) shall apply also to officers when utilising Government vehicles in the performance of their official duties.
